Much as they did in April of this year, the United States Navy and the Japanese Self-Defense Force (SDF) have deployed missile batteries and Aegis-equipped warships in advance of North Korea’s next rocket launch scheduled for some time between 10 and 22 December. US Navy has also deployed its Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1) seaborne radar platform to monitor the North’s launch.
