Following the successful launch of our new publishing platform, and with Defense-Update readership hitting the 200,000 monthly readers mark through 2011, we are preparing our publication for the next wave, by opening the Defense-Update editorial board for more writers, recruiting new editors and writers who can contribute and assist in covering modern defense issues from their local territories and based on their personal experience and knowhow.
As our organization is still young and lean, these new positions are suitable primarily for retired military, retired defense industry executives and consultants, having experience or knowledge of military technology and good writing skills and can benefit from the opportunities the defense industry offers to professionals skilled in professional writing and credible reporting.
We are seeking to open those positions to experienced writers reporting from the primary defense markets worldwide, including:
