Improved Kilo Class Submarines Fulfill Russian Domestic, International Demand for Conventional Subs

The third Varshavyanka class submarine was laid down today at the Admiralty Shipyard in St. Petersburg. Upon completion the 'Stary Oskol' submarine will join the Russia’s Black Sea Fleet by 2016.

Russian Su-24 ‘Fencer’ Shot Down Over Syrian-Turkish Border

While the first of three C-130J 'Shimshon' Super Hercules transport aircraft destined for Israel is shaping up at Lockheed Martin's assembly line at Marietta, GA, the IAF is also embarking on the modernization of its existing C-130Hs through a comprehensive modernization program. Elbit Systems announced today that it has been selected to upgrade C-130H Hercules transport aircraft for the IAF.
