ITT Exelis completed a successful demonstration of the new block upgrade of its AN/ALQ-211 Advanced Defensive Electronic Warfare System (AIDEWS). The updated Block 5.2 configuration will be available to upgrade the defensive aids systems (DAS) for six international air forces which have selected the ALQ-211 AIDEWS for their F-16s.

Elbit Systems reported today the first export sale of its Hermes 900 UAV to a customer in Latin America (although the identity of the country has not been confirmed, the country is believed to be Chile).
