Israel MOD to Test its new Robotic Combat Vehicle by 2023
The Israel Ministry of Defense will begin testing a Medium Robotic Combat Vehicle (M-RCV) developed by the Ministry's Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D), the Tank and APC Directorate, and the Israeli defense industries. The robotic combat vehicle will be unveiled today at Elbit Systems' pavilion at the Eurosatory Defense and Security Exhibition. Field testing are scheduled to begin in 2023, testing the robotic vehicle in representative scenarios.
IDF Debuts Drone Swarms to Seek and Attack Hidden Targets
During the recent 'Guardian of the Walls' operations in Gaza, Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) employed swarms of unmanned systems to strike inside the enemy area to seek and destroy hidden targets. This was the combat debut of a new capability developed by the IDF that demonstrated the great value of manned-unmanned operations at the tactical edge.
Israel MOD Evaluates Future Concepts for Armored Warfare
Israel’s Ministry of Defense Defense Research and Development Directorate (DRDD) provided today a glimpse into the Carmel technology demonstration program, evaluating future combat vehicle technologies for the late 2020 and beyond. Rafael, Elbit Systems and IAI participated in the demonstration showcasing how each group addressed a technology approach to meet the challenge.
