MBDA continued the firing test campaign of the new MMP (Missile Moyenne Portée - Medium range missile). Last week the company conducted two successful flights against steel plate targets located at intermediate range of more than four kilometers from the firing post.

MBDA is displaying at Eurosatory the future man-portable guided missile it is developing for the French Army. The new fire and forget missile will also enable man-in-the-loop control using fiber-optical link.

MBDA has demonstrated the firing capabilities of its MMP missile in an operational configuration, fired from a confined space. The weapon's warhead has also passed an important milestone, demonstrating its lethality against modern main battle tanks.
