Israel Requests Eight SH-60F SeaHawk from US Navy Surplus
Israel is seeking US approval for the supply of eight SH-60F Sea-Hawk Helicopters from US Navy surplus to support the Israeli Navy security operations in the Mediterranean Sea. The helicopters will initially operate with the four new Meko-100 Class Magen corvettes Israel will receive from Germany by 2020.
MH-60R Wins First International Sale with Australian Order for 24 Helicopters
The Australian Navy intends to buy 24 MH-60R multi-role naval combat helicopters to equip its new surface ships. The Royal Australian Navy is expected to take delivery of the first two helicopters in 2014. The package will be processed through U.S. Foreign Military Sales. This is the first export order for the MH-60R out of the USA.
