GDLS-UK Demonstrates AJAX-Brimstone ‘Overwatch’ Variant

General Dynamics Land Systems–UK today unveiled a new variant of AJAX Family of Vehicles (FoV) based on the ARES troop-carrying reconnaissance vehicle. In the Overwatch role, Brimstone is the differentiator for high intensity, peer-on-peer warfighting under all weather conditions, excellent reach, high loadout, and salvo capability.

MBDA Teams with PGZ to Deliver Missile-Carrying Tank Destroyers

MBDA and the Polish defense enterprise PGZ have unveiled at MSPO 2019 two configurations of tracked tank destroyers armed with Brimstone precision strike missiles. The initiative comes in response to Poland’s requirement for a Tank Destroyer able to counter massed armor formations on its Eastern border with Russia. The Polish Army currently operates BRDM-2 wheeled vehicles carrying four 9P133 Malyutka (Sagger) remotely controlled anti-tank missiles.

Britain’s Protectors to Carry Brimstone Missiles

MBDA will provide integration of the Brimstone precision guided strike missile onto the SkyGuardian drone to enhance the capability of RAF Protector GR Mk1 drone to engage a wide range of targets (stationary, fast moving, land and sea) under all weather conditions.
