Israel’s Electro-Optics (EO) specialist CONTROP Precision Technologies Ltd. succeeded to expand such sensor coverage beyond 40 km, enabling security forces to deploy fewer towers while improving the coverage of long borders and coastal lines.

An automated bird detection system based on the Israeli Spider persistent surveillance system has been tested by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to improve the capability to detect and track bird activity near airports.
