New Wheeled Tanks for the Italian Army
The Italian MOD has ordered the first ten Centauro II wheeled tanks from Iveco-Oto Melara consortium (CIO). This award, worth 159 million Euro, that includes the procurement of vehicles, equipment, and logistics, is the first tranche of a planned procurement of 136 vehicles.
Marine Corps to Buy up-to 204 US-Italian Amphibious Combat Vehicles
The U.S. Marine Corps has selected a new wheeled, amphibious combat vehicle (ACV) for the service and awarded BAE Systems a $198 million contract to deliver the initial 30 vehicles, with options for additional 174 vehicles, what could lead up to a $1.2 billion procurement. Based on the Italian SuperAV design introduced by Iveco Defense Vehicles, ACV provides exceptional mobility in all terrains, a suspended interior seat structure for 13 embarked Marines, blast-mitigating positions for a crew of three, and improved survivability and force protection over currently fielded systems.
Iveco to Supply New 4×4 Trucks for the German Army
the German Ministry of Defense ordered 280 Eurocargo military medium multipurpose 4x4 trucks from Iveco Defense Vehicles (DV). The order was made by German BwFuhrpark Service GmbH on behalf of the German Army will be delivered in 2018.
Romania Orders 173 Iveco DV Military Trucks
The Romanian Ministry of National Defence awarded Iveco Defence Vehicles (Iveco DV) a contract for the supply of 173 military trucks to be supplied within 2018. Lebanon orders armored vehicles from Italy and Brazil
The Italian vehicle manufacturer Iveco has signed a contract to sell 80 vehicles to the Lebanese military and police. The deal, worth about 30 million euros, includes 25 light armored vehicles and six mine protected armored vehicles to be produced in Italy and ten Brazilian produced VBTP-MR amphibious armored personnel carriers. The remaining vehicles include unarmored military trucks.
