Orbiter 4 (NITZOZ) UAS to Enter IAF Service
Israel's Air & Space Force (IAF) has recently reactivated the 144th squadron at Hatzor air force base, a new unit destined to operate the Orbiter 4 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) under a new multi-domain force sharing IAF, ground, and intelligence forces assets. These platforms will provide the aerial layer of Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) 'Storm Clouds' program.

Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. unveiled today the Sea Breaker, a 5th generation long-range, autonomous, precision-guided missile system, enabling significant attack performance against a variety of high-value maritime and land targets. Rafael foresees Sea Breaker as a multi-domain weapon system capable of delivering lethal effects as an anti-ship, land-attack, coastal defense, and surface-to-surface cruise missile.
Reccelite Pods to Fly on Italian Predator Bs
Italy is integrating the Israeli Reccelite tactical reconnaissance pod on its US-made General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA‑ASI) Predator B/ MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems. Integration tests are already underway and fielding of the new configuration is expected next year.
David’s Sling Weapon System Completes Final Testing
The Israeli David's Sling air and missile defense weapon system (DSWS) successfully completed today the fourth and final series of tests (DST-4), representing the final milestone in the system's development. DST-4 is the final milestone before the IDF declares the David's Sling an operational system. The first of two units is expected to become operational in early 2016.
