Typhoons and Su-30MKI Joined for Training in the UK
Indian Air Force Su-30MKI and RAF Typhoon aircraft are operating in mixed formations as part of the fourth Indradhanush exercise, a 10 day deployment demonstrating trans continental air power projection. This year the deployment includes 190 personnel operating Su-30 fighters, IL-78 tankers, C-17 strategic and C-130J tactical airlift aircraft
China Unveils Photos of New Y-20 Heavy Transport
Xi’an Aircraft Corporation’s Y-20, is the latest in a long series of new military aircraft China has introduced to the world recently. The aircraft bears a striking resemblance to the US Air Force C-17 Boeing-built transport, but appears to be of a size that might fit somewhere between the C-17 and the Airbus A400M.

New Delhi Approves $4.1 Billion C-17 Procurement
The Indian government approved today the purchase of ten C-17 Globmaster II heavy lift aircraft from the U.S.Deliveries of the aircraft could begin by mid 2013. The current procurement worth $4.1 billion could be further extended, as India could be interested in an option to but six additional aircraft of this type.
