Bradley based armored vehicles to replace M113s in US Army service

The U.S. Army has awarded BAE Systems $1.2 billion contract develop and produce Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicles (AMPV) based on Bradley chassis to replace the 50 year old M-113 Armored Personnel Carriers that haved served the army since the Vietnam War. The contract worth $1.2 billion (with options) will fund the production of 318 vehicles.

UAE is ready to take thousands of used MRAP vehicles

The UAE plans to acquire 4,500 used MRAP package from US military surplus, to improve force protection and protected mobility for land forces. The emirate is also planning to add a ballistic missile regiment, equipped with 12 HIMARS mobile launchers and 100 ATACMS ballistic guided missiles

Taranis UCAV demonstrates stealth capabilities

BAE Systems and the British MOD have completed second phase of flight testing, which included flight evaluations of the unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) low observable (stealth) capabilities.
