Turkish Decision Paves the F-35’s Way to Ankara
The Defense Industry Executive Committee (SSİK), meeting at the at the Undersecretariat for the Defense Industry (SSM) in Ankara cleared the Turkish defense authorities to follow with the planned acquisition of the first two F-35 fighter jets as part of a larger order for the Turkish Air Force.
New Guidelines Pave the Way for Wider UAS Exports
Seeking to establish home grown UAS development and manufacturing capability, the UAE is becoming a test case for Medium Altitude Long Endurance UAS export. Two companies intend to compete on the emirate's tender - the UAE based International Golden Group (IGG) and Turkish based TAI. With designs considered marginally compliant with MTCR guidelines, this case could become a game changer in the UAS export market, pushing leading UAS manufacturers to offer innovative design solutions to meet new operational objectives within these MTCR guidelines.
Turkey, Egypt Discuss Possible Export of Anka UAV
Turkey is ready to sell the new ANKA Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicles to Egypt. Ankara has already approved a contract signed between with Egypt, for the transfer of six fast intervention vessels.
