Toward an All-New Russian ICBM Force
As Russia continues the modernization of its strategic missile force, twenty additional RS-24s Yars ICBMs will be delivered in 2018. By 2020 these new missiles are expected to replace all the remaining 30 silo-based UR-100 (NATO Reporting name: SS-19 Stiletto) liquid-fueled ICBM.

North Korean Deterrence Boosted with HS-15 Success
The largest ballistic missile developed and launched by North Korea, Hwasong 15 (HS-15) represents an impressive weapon developed by the rough state to achieve credible deterrence against the United States. According to analysts, the new Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, (ICBM) carrying thermonuclear warheads could establish the North Korean nuclear deterrence force as early as next year.
North Korea Successfully Tests a Thermonuclear Device
Pyongyang confirmed today it successfully tested a hydrogen-bomb device, claiming it is now fully independent in producing such nuclear devices, from raw materials to the assembly in missiles. The Russian Navy successfully test-fired a Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile for a second time in two months. Another imminent test expected in the upcoming days is the last test launch of the solid propellant inter-continental ballistic missile RS-26. According to a US intelligence reports China has carried out a fourth flight test of an Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile in recent weeks, this time, the Dong Feng-31A (DF-31A) fired from a new road-mobile transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) configuration.
